A few weeks ago E and I took a day trip to the beautiful mountain town of Leavenworth, Washington knowing that we wouldn’t see snow during our Christmas trip to the East Coast. It is a few hours drive from the city and a stunning winter view. We heard a lot of buzz around Leavenworth and it did not disappoint. The entire town is modeled after a Bavarian village; you certainly feel as though you are in Europe as you stroll through the town.
