This weekend E and I took a day trip to Bainbridge Island, which is a quick 30 minute ferry ride from Seattle. It was E’s birthday weekend so our visit was solely to have lunch and wine taste. #priorities. At 10 miles long and 5 miles wide, Bainbridge Island is home to seven wineries, one brewery, and one distillery! Total overachievers, amiright?! Now that day light hours are not on our side this time of year, we only had time for two wine tastings, of which both were fantastic. We visited the tasting rooms of Eagle Harbor and Amelia Wynn and purchased a bottle to savor for another time. We will definitely return for more wine tastings and hiking in the spring!
Although cold, the sun was out (hallelujah!) allowing us the opportunity to explore sans umbrella. I wore this embellished sweater and this quilted jacket that I told you about from this post. I think I had as much fun sitting on the ferry as I did touring the island. Maybe we need to get out more?!
