Feminine Off The Shoulder

Well, it’s definitely been awhile. As you know, I have a newborn at home. And oh my gosh is she so scrumptious!! Her sounds, her movements, her smell, her SMILES, the way she nuzzles into my neck, watching E with her…all of it…it’s so incredible and so worth it!! That said, I can’t even begin to describe how time-consuming caring for a newborn is. And when I do find a moment to even think about shooting or blogging, all I really want to do is hold my baby. So, alas, it’s been forever. I do hope to get into a blogging rhythm this year – it’s my New Years Resolution. Only time will tell…

Anyways, about the outfit!! Rose and I take a daily walk around the city. Some days we go to the water. Some days we browse the stores. This blog post is a result of one of those browsing the stores walks. 🙂 This top is fun, flirty, and feminine. Because I am exclusively nursing her right now, my outfits 90% of the time consist of button downs with distressed denim or high waist leggings (these ones!). Oddly enough though, off-the-shoulder tops are pretty BF-friendly so it was a win win. I can see myself wearing this on vacation, to a girls brunch, or date night. I think it will get a lot of use this season. I’ve talked about this pair of denim a lot of my Instagram. They are SO cheap and coordinate with just about any top I have on. Even though I typically like to invest in designer jeans (especially since that is what I wear to work), I’ve loved this budget-friendly pair and wear they multiple times a week.

I hope everyone has a fun weekend! It is *supposed* to be sunny here in Seattle so we are thinking of taking Rose for her very first PNW hike!! Stay tuned…
