Even though days of NYC bottomless brunch are a thing of the past for us, we are determined to find our local go-to brunch spot. Eric got a recommendation from a coworker to try out Caffe Lieto and so off we went. Apparently this place is highly reviewed on Trip Advisor so there was quite a line from the tourists visiting the city — it is also located very close to Pike Place Market (another hot spot) making the lines that much longer. We were determined to stick it out to give this place a try. I will be honest, Caffe Lieto is more of a PC cover name; the place is really called “Biscuit Bitch” and all the breakfast sandwiches are named in that regard. We both tried a version of the “B*tchwich” paired with really strong iced coffees. We agreed these breakfast sandwiches were worth every calorie and plan to come back to try more of the menu. Considering our breakfast was sandwiched between two buttery biscuits, a walk was definitely a must and set off to stroll through the market.
Seattle is admittedly a very casual city which is hard for me to embrace. I will not let my natural desire to overdress totally die, but I will embrace the culture of my new city. Here I paired this Old Navy flannel with these Joe’s Jeans and my MK booties (sold out, similar here).
